ADDITIONAL PAID TIME OFF

Policy Scope:

In addition to accrued paid time off, we offer employees paid time off for

bereavement, sick time, and jury duty.

Policy Definitions:

Full-time, part-time and per-diem employees of We Do Life…Together (WDLT) are

eligible for additional paid time off as defined below. Business partners,

consultants, unpaid interns, volunteers are not eligible.

SICK TIME

Eligible employees will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked, up

to a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year. Accrual begins on the first day of

employment. Employees may carry over up to 40 unused hours to the following

year; however, the annual usage limit is 40 hours. Employees may begin using

accrued sick time after 120 calendar days of employment.

Sick time can be used for some of the following purposes:

The employee’s or a family member's illness, injury, or health condition •

Medical diagnosis, care, treatment, or preventive care for the employee or a

family member

The employee’s own mental health wellness day

Certain circumstances related to domestic violence or sexual assault, such as

seeking medical or legal assistance

Certain circumstances relating to public health emergencies, including

workplace or school closures due to communicable disease

For a complete listing of eligible reasons please refer to the Notice Regarding Paid

Sick Leave posted at each location.

For the purposes of this policy, a “family member” includes:

A spouse, child (minor or adult), sibling, grandparent, grandchild, or parent of

the employee

A person related to the employee by blood or affinity whose close association

with the employee is equivalent to one of the family relationships listed above
