DATA PROTECTION

SYSTEM USAGE

Expected Use:

Employees are provided access to systems and data/information to perform the

functions of their jobs. Reasonable personal use of our systems is allowed if usage

adheres to all company policies, does not interfere with performance, is not

excessive, and does not pose a risk to data/system security.

Employees are not permitted to use company systems at any time, including

personal use, to access and/or share:

Offensive, obscene, indecent, or excessively violent content

Any virus, phishing attack, or other disruptive program code

Content designed or likely to cause annoyance or inconvenience

Content which discriminates or encourages discrimination on the grounds of

disability, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, religion or

age

Material which could constitute harassment or bullying

Unsolicited bulk email (spam)

Other potentially harmful or usage that violates any company policy

User Expectations:

When

using

our

network

(Wi-Fi),

systems,

and/or

accessing

our

data/information, users are not permitted to:

Attempt to circumvent any security controls

Deliberately or carelessly enable the transmission of malware, viruses, etc.

Install software or apps without approval

Damage, reconfigure, or move equipment without approval

Connect equipment to the network other than by approved methods

Use of Data / Information:

Users are responsible for taking all reasonable steps to safeguard our

data/information and must never:

Copy or download information for anything other than job related use

Infringe copyright, or break the terms of licenses for software or other

materials

Attempt to access, delete, modify or disclose information belonging to other

people without approval

Create, download, store or transmit unlawful material, or material that is

indecent, offensive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, etc.
