Recertification / Training Scheduling – Live Classes
When employees receive notification(s) that their training certification(s) is/are
expiring, the employee will be scheduled for the next available training session, by
their program manager. Scheduled training courses will automatically be put on the
employees’ schedule in Paycom, meaning the employee does not need to contact the
training department to schedule training sessions. It is an employee's responsibility
to be always aware of their schedule on Paycom.
Whenever possible, training classes will not interfere with an employee’s work
schedule. The program manager may alter an employee’s schedule for the week to
compensate for the required training hours.
The training can begin within 45 days of the expiration date. It is the employee’s
responsibility to complete required training prior to expiration. If the employee
fails to do this, they will be removed from the schedule, placed on Administrative
Leave (AL), and will face disciplinary action including and up to termination.
Recertification / Training – Online Classes
Our agency uses an online training platform for some of our required training.
When employees receive notification(s) that their training certification(s) is/are
expiring and the required training is offered through our online training platform,
the employee will be assigned the required training courses and any required
login/passwords to complete the training within 30-days from their expiration
date. Login/passwords will be sent to the employees’ email on file in the Paycom
system as well as their manager’s email at the time the courses are assigned.
The training can begin within 45 days of the expiration date. It is the employee’s
responsibility to complete required training prior to expiration. If the employee
fails to do this, they will be removed from the schedule, placed on Administrative
Leave (AL), and will face disciplinary action including and up to termination.
