STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
Policy Scope
The Standards of Conduct policy establishes the behavioral expectations and
professional standards that govern all employees, contractors, volunteers, and
representatives of We Do Life...Together (WDLT) in their interactions with
Individuals, colleagues, and the community while ensuring compliance with
applicable laws and ethical standards services delivery.
Policy and Policy Definitions
We Do Life...Together (WDLT) is committed to maintaining a professional, safe,
and respectful work environment that supports our mission of providing quality
services to the Individuals we serve. This policy applies to all staff members
regardless of their role or tenure. Everyone is expected to conduct themselves in a
manner that reflects WDLT's values, maintains public trust, and ensures the safety
and well-being of Individuals, staff, and the broader community.
This policy outlines the standards of professional conduct that all staff members
must follow. Violations of these standards may result in corrective action, up to and
including termination of employment, consistent with the Progressive Discipline
policy outlined below, unless otherwise specified. WDLT reserves the right to
determine appropriate disciplinary measures based on the nature and severity of
the conduct, considering all relevant circumstances.
All staff members are expected to:
Maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct
Treat all Individuals with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity
Protect Individual confidentiality and privacy in accordance with applicable
laws and regulations
Perform assigned duties competently and in accordance with established
policies and procedures
Report suspected violations of this policy or other concerning behaviors through
appropriate channels
Participate in required training and professional development activities
Maintain professional boundaries in all Individual and colleague relationships
