ATTENDANCE
If the employee is already scheduled to work an additional shift within twenty-four
(24) hours of when they call-out, they should notify their manager or the person
they are calling out to if they will be working that scheduled shift or missing that
shift as well.
TARDINESS / LATE ARRIVAL AND EARLY DEPARTURE / LEAVING EARLY
Tardiness / Late
Employees are expected to report to work on time. If an employee cannot report to
work as scheduled, they must notify their manager during core business hours and
the on-call manager outside core business hours no later than five (5) minutes past
the regular starting time. This notification does not excuse the tardiness and is
simply to let the manager know the employee will be late and when they will be
arriving for their scheduled shift.
Every time an employee is more than five (5) minutes tardy / late, it is considered
one (1) occurrence for the purpose of discipline under this policy.
More than 15 Minutes Late (No Call / No Show)
Employees who are fifteen (15) minutes or more from their scheduled start time for
a work shift, training, meeting, etc., will be considered a no call/no show and will
be disciplined including and up to termination as defined in our policy.
If an employee shows up fifteen (15) minutes or more from their scheduled start
time, it will be up to (on-call) manager discretion if they are able to work the shift.
If the (on-call) manager does allow the employee to work the shift, the employee
will receive a tardy/late occurrence and will be disciplined including and up to
termination as defined in our policy.
Early Departures / Leaving Early
Employees who must leave work before the end of their scheduled shift must
immediately notify their assigned manager during core business hours or the on-
call manager outside of core business hours.
Every time an employee leaves early from their scheduled shift is considered one (1)
occurrence for the purpose of discipline under this policy.
