The Five Elements (Panchabhutas)

In Vastu, everything is made up of five natural

elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. Each

element has its own role and should be balanced in

your home.

Earth (Prithvi): Represents stability and balance.

It relates to the South-West direction.

Water (Jal): Represents flow and life. It relates to

the North-East.

Fire (Agni): Represents heat and energy. It relates

to the South-East.

Air (Vayu): Represents movement and freshness.

It relates to the North-West.

Sky (Aakash): Represents openness and freedom.

It should remain uncluttered.
