Breast Cancer Screening

Baseline mammogram recommended

between the ages of 35-40.

Screening mammogram recommended yearly

after the age of 40.

Routine Self Breast Exams are recommended:

tell your provider right away if you notice any

changes in the way your breasts look or feel.

Cervical Cancer Screening

Recommended for people with a cervix every

3-5 years.

Colorectal Cancer Screening

Recommended for everyone beginning at

age 45.

Cologuard: every 3 years.

Colonoscopy: every 10 years. May be more

frequent depending on your risk.

Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT): every

year.

Prostate Cancer Screening

At age 45, African American individuals

should discuss with a doctor.

Ages 21-39

Cervical Cancer Screening

Recommended for people with a cervix

beginning at age 21 every 3-5 years.

Other Cancer Screenings

Age 25-39: find out if you are at high risk for

breast, colon or rectal cancer. If not, then no

test is needed at this time.

Ask your provider about MyRisk

Hereditary Cancer Test.

Ages 40-49

Ages 50+

Breast Cancer Screening

50+ continue yearly screening and discuss

with a provider when to stop.

Cervical Cancer Screening

Recommended until age 65.

Age 66+ who have had regular cervical

cancer testing in the past 10 years with

normal results can stop testing.

Colorectal Cancer Screening

Recommended through age 75.

Age 76-85 discuss continuation of screening

with provider.

Lung Cancer Screening

People who currently smoke or used to

smoke should discuss with a doctor.

Age 50-80 current or former smoker (one

pack a day for 20 years).

Prostate Cancer Screening

Discussing with a doctor is recommended.
