WDLT Employee Handbook

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

Policy Scope

The Company provides Paid Time Off (PTO) to eligible full-time and part-time

employees to use for needed time away from work including vacations, personal

reasons, etc. Per Diem (temporary/seasonal) employees are not eligible for PTO.

Policy and Policy Definitions

Paid-Time-Off (PTO) should be used for needed time away from work during an

employee’s normal working hours. Employees can use this time at their discretion

for vacation(s), illness (beyond paid sick time), personal matters, etc.

Employees should carefully plan and monitor their PTO usage, since PTO is

awarded on an accrual basis per pay period and employees cannot borrow against

unearned PTO hours.

Unpaid time off is not permitted for any reason and will be addressed through

disciplinary action including and up to termination.

PTO ELIGIBILITY

Eligible employees accrue Paid-Time-Off (PTO) in addition to and outside of

company paid sick time.

Both Full-time and Part-time employees begin to accrue PTO on their date of hire

and are eligible to take time off the first of the month following sixty (60) days of

employment.

PTO BANK

PTO is accrued/awarded, stored, and tracked in a PTO Bank in our company time

tracking system (Paycom). Employees have access to their PTO Bank in the system.
