WDLT Employee Handbook

HOURS OF WORK

Hourly Employee Time Records

Hourly (non-exempt) employees must accurately record all hours worked using the

company record-keeping system (i.e., Paycom). All time tracking policies must be

adhered to, which are outlined in our Paycom Policy.

Employee work hours will be recorded on their timecard at the end of each shift,

regardless of whether the shift crosses over to the next day and/or week. For

instance, employees working the 3rd shift from 10:00 PM on Saturday to 10:00 AM

on Sunday will have all their hours recorded on Sunday when they clock out.

Salaried Employee Time Records

Salaried (exempt) employees record hours using the recordkeeping system (i.e.,

Paycom) at the discretion of their Program Director. Applicable time tracking

policies must be adhered to, which are outlined in our Paycom Policy.

Workweek

Our company workweek is Sunday, 12:00 am – Saturday, 11:59 pm.

Maximum Consecutive Worked Hours

No employee can work more than two (2) consecutive shifts and/or 16 consecutive

hours. After working two (2) consecutive shifts and/or sixteen (16) consecutive

hours, an employee must be off work for a minimum of four (4) hours before

starting a new work shift.

Maximum Weekly Worked Hours

No employee can work more than 56 hours during the work week without prior

authorization from either the Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer (CEO),

Chief Operating Officer (COO), or their designee(s).
