INTRODUCTORY EMPLOYMENT PERIOD
Scope:
All newly hired employees are subject to an Introductory Employment Period
lasting sixty (60) days from the date of hire.
Policy and Policy Definitions:
Introductory Employment Period: The initial sixty (60) days of employment
during which performance, conduct, and job fit are formally evaluated
At-Will Employment: An employment arrangement where either the
employee or We Do Life…Together (WDLT) may end the employment
relationship at any time, with or without notice or cause.
This policy applies to all newly hired employees of WDLT across all departments
and job classifications, unless otherwise outlined in an individual employment
agreement.
The Introductory Employment Period serves as a mutual "getting acquainted"
phase, allowing both the new employee, and WDLT, as the employer, to assess the
employment relationship. During this time, WDLT will evaluate the new
employee’s
performance,
conduct,
and
overall
suitability
for
continued
employment. Likewise, the new employee will have the opportunity to evaluate
WDLT as a place to work.
Completion of the Introductory Employment Period does not imply or guarantee
continued employment or a change in employment status. Employment with
WDLT is At-Will, meaning either the new employee or WDLT may terminate the
employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, both
during and after the Introductory Employment Period.
