EMPLOYEE SEPARATION

Human Resources: Manage the separation process, ensure compliance with

legal requirements (including Connecticut Paid Sick Leave Law), conduct exit

interviews (as applicable), and manage final pay and employment verifications.

Human Resources will also manage the formal process for transitions to per-

diem/substitute status, including benefit changes and proper documentation,

and process resignations if a status change is not approved. HR will also oversee

the procedures for involuntary terminations.
