Policy and Policy Definitions
It is the policy of We Do Life…Together (WDLT) to provide reasonable
accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities and to
qualified pregnant workers, consistent with applicable federal and state laws,
including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the ADA Amendments Act
(ADAAA), the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and the Connecticut Fair
Employment Practices Act (CFEPA), to enable them to perform the essential
functions of their positions and to enjoy equal employment opportunities, unless
doing so would cause an undue hardship for WDLT.
WDLT prohibits discrimination against qualified employees or applicants with
disabilities and pregnant workers in all aspects of employment, such as
recruitment, hiring, promotions, training, compensation, and benefits.
