APPEARANCE & DRESS CODE

Appropriate Appearance and Dress

Clothing and footwear deemed appropriate for our various work environments and

roles show respect not only to ourselves and our team members but also to those we

serve. While we value and appreciate each employee’s uniqueness and ability to

express themselves, attire and appearance must not interfere with job

responsibilities and must ensure the safety of our employees and Individuals.

In general, dress should be clean and neat, with clothing free of tears, rips, and

offensive and/or discriminatory logos or writing. Specific clothing and footwear

requirements by role are as follows.

Administrative (Admin) Staff (working primarily at one of our main office

locations):

Business casual attire that is stylish and put-together. Examples include:

Bottoms:

Dressy jeans

Dress pants or khakis

Dresses, skirts, or shorts of appropriate length and fit, no shorter

than three (3) inches above the knee

Tops:

Sweaters

Sleeveless tops if most of the shoulder is covered

Blazers

Blouses

Dress shirts, blouses, or button-down shirts

Collared polo or golf shirts

Tee shirts such as our WDLT tees

Shoes and accessories:

Dress shoes, tie shoes, sandals, or sneakers

Appropriate jewelry and hair accessories

Admin Staff (working at a program location either part or full-time):

Comfortable casual dress complying with required Direct Support

Professional (DSP) appearance and dress requirements. Examples include:

Bottoms:

Jeans and a tee shirt, such as our WDLT tees

Khakis

Shorts no shorter than three (3) inches above the knee
