GR50

Nomex Grinding Hood

Paired with a Bullard PAPR or supplied air respirators, GR50

Nomex Grinding Hood is designed to meet the challenges

encountered in grinding, brazing, and metalworking

operations. The lightweight outer hood, made from Nomex®,

protects the wearer’s entire head, face, and neck from

sparks and airborne particulates. The inner bib, made from

fame-retardant cotton, is an added protective barrier.

Industrial

Nomex Material – The lightweight outer hood, made from Nomex®,

protects the wearer’s entire head, face, and neck from sparks and

airborne particulates. The inner bib, made from fame-retardant cotton,

is an added protective barrier. The GR50 hood is washable.

Comfortable and Lightweight Fit. Weighing only 16 oz. (475 g), the

GR50 is a lightweight alternative for workers accustomed to wearing

heavier hard-shell respirators during grinding. The GR50 performs well

in tight spaces with its fexible hood and inner window that enhances

the wearer’s mobility. The inner window is made of 0.040” polycar-

bonate and can stand up to temperatures of up to 250°F. The hood’s

fexibility accommodates beards, hearing protection, prescription eye-

wear or safety glasses. Nomex® material complies with NFPA 2112

Standard on Flame-Resistant Garments for Protection of Industrial

Personnel Against Flash Fire.

Head Protection and Climate Control Options. When worn with a

Bullard hard hat, the hood meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1, Type I require-

ments for protective headwear. A variety of climate control devices

allow workers to cool incoming air to meet their comfort requirements.

Maximum Visibility. Wide-angle face shield and headband suspen-

sion system are positioned to create the maximum viewing area. Re-

placement outer lens helps protect the inner lens from sparks and

debris, extending the usable life cycle of the product.

Breathing Protection. Continuous airfow is delivered through a

unique neck-cuff, maintaining positive pressure inside the hood to

help keep contaminants out.

SPECTRUM SERIES®

Tight-Fitting Full Facepiece

Respirator System

Spectrum is a Type-C, Continuous Flow Respirator System.

It is available in two sizes, small or medium/large, for a

secure, comfortable ft across a wide range of facial sizes

and contours.

Industrial

Low Profile and Optimal Visibility. The low profle allows users to get

close to their work. This broadens the applications that Spectrum can

be used in. The low profle design also reduces snag hazards. The op-

tically correct lens provides superior peripheral vision. The clear nose

cup allows more light into the masks, minimizing the closed in feeling.

Maximum Protection in its Class. Spectrum offers respirator protec-

tion that meets ANSI/ISEA Z87+ Impact Face Protection.

Comfortable and Lightweight Fit. The lightweight silicone fange

seals softly against the user’s face without feeling slippery. The dou-

ble fange provides a secure, comfortable ft across a wide range of

facial sizes and contours.

Easy to Assemble. The snap together parts make assembly and

maintenance quick and effcient without requiring special tools. The

single facepiece platform design allows for conversion to other respi-

rator confgurations.
