INSIGHTS AND COMMENTS
• A total of 3,035 re-sales were recorded in Q1-2024 in
the Fraser Valley: 1,060 single family re-sales, 867
townhome re-sales, and 1,108 apartment re-sales.
• All apartment, townhome and single detached re-sales
were up compared to the same quarter last year as
they increased by 17.4 percent, 10.8 percent, and 14.3
percent, respectively.
• Sales-to-listings ratios decreased for single family
homes, townhomes, and apartments by 18.1 percent ,19.5
percent, and 17.8 percent, respectively, when compared to
Q1-2023.
• The benchmark prices by product type in the
Fraser Valley in Q1-2024 were as follows:
Apartment - $564,308, Townhome - $868,921, and
Single Family - $1,552,991.
• The benchmark price has increased for single family,
townhome, and apartment re-sales by 2.0 percent, 10.0
percent, and 7.7 percent, respectively, when compared
to the same quarter last year.
