When we want to make rules that help our planet, we need
to talk to diferent people who are important and who know
things about how the planet works. These people might be
leaders who make important decisions, people who own
businesses, or people who live in our community. We need to
talk to them and work together to make rules that help our
planet stay healthy and happy. We also need to make sure we
listen to everyone's ideas and try to make rules that are fair
and good for everyone. When we have our rules, we need to
follow them so we can take care of our planet and everything
living on it.
HOW TO ENGAGE AND COLLABORATE
WITH COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES.
Sometimes, important people who make decisions in our community, country, or even the world get together
in meetings to talk about how we can help the environment. As a climate activist, you can go to these meetings
to share your ideas and experiences to help make the environment better.
Countries also make rules and plans to help protect the environment, and it's important that kids and young
people like you get to give your opinions too. When you take part in these meetings or consultations, you can
help make sure that these rules and plans are fair and work for everyone, including kids and young people.
Other young activists have some tips on what to do before, during, and after these meetings or consultations,
so you can be prepared and make a diference!
