Enough efort, enough ambition, enough

CHANGE IS
INCREMENTAL BUT
EVERY STEP COUNTS
INACTION IS ALSO
A CHOICE
Everything we do can have an efect on the world around
us, even if we don't notice it right away. For example, if we
throw our trash on the ground instead of in the garbage
can, it might not seem like a big deal to us, but it can hurt
the Earth and the animals that live on it. But if we do little
things like using less plastic or recycling, it can help make
the world a better place for everyone. So, it's important to
always try to do good things for the Earth!
THE COST OF INACTION IS
FAR GREATER THAN THE
COST OF ACTION
continue to see emissions rise, temperatures rise, the
focus then has to shift to adapting to these changing
conditions,” says the Executive Secretary adding that
despite the overwhelming scientifc evidence that
natural disasters are increasing in frequency and
severity due to climate change, “countries still continue
to do the things that they're not supposed to do - this
dependency on fossil fuels; our patterns of production
and consumption are unsustainable.”
STUDENTS AROUND
THE WORLD GO ON
CLIMATE STRIKE
“School and university students in more than 100
countries have gone on strike to demand that
politicians take urgent action on climate change. The
coordinated protests were organised on social media
under the Fridays for Future banner and inspired by
the 16-year-old Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, who
is in her 30th week of striking on Fridays.”
