Everything we do in life, big or small, has an impact. It can afect the environment we live in, the people and
animals around us, the way we live our lives, and even the money we have.
For example, if you throw litter on the ground, it can make the place look messy and harm animals that live
there. If you share your toys with your friends, it can make them happy and create a nice community. If you
save your allowance, you can buy something special you really want. And if a lot of people in the world start
using cars that pollute the air, it can make the air we breathe unhealthy.
So, everything we do has an impact on our world and the people in it. That's why it's important to think
about how our actions afect others and make choices that are kind to the world and the people around us.
CLIMATE JUSTICE
ACCORDING TO A KID
Climate justice involves discussing the impact of
climate change on individuals, in addition to the
environment, and acknowledging that some
people are afected more severely than others.
The inequitable nature of climate change means
that those who contributed the least to it are
often the ones who sufer the most, while those
who are responsible for most of the damage
may not experience its efects for several years.
