2- ENGAGEMENT - Why and how to promote Sustainability (6-25 years)

Welcome to interactive presentation, created with Publuu. Enjoy the reading!

Sustainability means taking care of the Earth so that we can keep

living on it for a long time. We can do this by using things wisely, like

turning of the lights when we leave a room or using a reusable

water bottle instead of a plastic one that we throw away. Diferent

people might think that taking care of the Earth is very important,

or they might not think it's as important. It depends on what they

believe is right and good.

GENERATIONAL AND CULTURAL FACTORS INFLUENCE

THE IMPORTANCE GIVEN TO SUSTAINABILITY

THE GENERATION THAT CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

IF WE LET THEM

In the future, the world might not be as good as it is now. There are

problems like climate change, where the weather gets really bad

and causes damage to everything, and not everyone gets treated

fairly. It can be hard to believe that things will get better, but a

report by the United Nations says that young people, like kids your

age, can help make the world a better place when they grow up.

They have new ideas and ways of thinking that can make the world

a happier and safer place for everyone. So, we can be hopeful and

optimistic that the future will be brighter because of these young

people.

THE MOST AND LEAST GREEN COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD

Being 'green' means taking care of the world around us and making sure we

don't hurt the Earth or the things that live on it. Scientists have looked at many

countries to see which ones do a good job of taking care of the environment

and keeping people healthy, and they ranked them from the best to the worst.

IN RESPONSE TO CLIMATE CHANGE, CITIZENS IN

ADVANCED ECONOMIES ARE WILLING TO ALTER

HOW THEY LIVE AND WORK

Some young adults in certain places are more willing than older

adults to change the way they live to help make the planet healthier

and safer for everyone.
