PRESENT-DAY BENEFITS OF
PRESERVING NATURE FOR
FUTURE GENERATIONS
Preserving nature means taking care of plants,
animals, and everything else in the world around us.
It's important to do this because nature is really cool
and beautiful, and we want to make sure that it stays
that way for a long time.
When we take care of nature, we help to make sure
that all of the animals and plants can continue to live
in their homes and grow big and strong. This is
important because they are all part of a big team that
helps to keep our world healthy and happy.
When we go outside and explore nature, we can learn
a lot of new things and have fun adventures. So, we
want to make sure that we can keep doing this for a
long time. That's why it's important to take care of
nature and all of the living things in it, so that we can
enjoy them and they can continue to be a part of our
world.
“52. Investing in younger generations will deliver
crucial returns for those alive today, but the complex
problems that we face will unfold over multiple
lifespans. Today’s decisions on issues such as climate,
technology and development will profoundly alter the
livelihoods of the 10.9 billion people who are expected
to be born later this century, predominantly in Africa
and Asia.”
NOT EVERYONE HAS THE
SAME MEANS OF
PROMOTING
SUSTAINABILITY
Diferent people and groups try to take care of the
environment in diferent ways. Some people have more
resources and can do more things, like recycling, using less
water, or using clean energy. Other people may not have
as many resources, but they can still help by doing small
things like picking up litter or turning of lights when
they're not using them. It's important for everyone to do
what they can to take care of the environment, no matter
how big or small
