Aesthetics or function? Especially in the case
of suspended lighting, balancing these two
characteristics can be a difficult task. A light
fixture hanging above a table or a reception
desk is often both an interior decoration and
a functional element that should ensure the
comfort of eating meals or the daily work of the
hotel staff. The luminaire suspended above a
kitchen island or a table in a stylish restaurant not
only illuminates the space of the countertop on
which we operate, but is also often a showcase of
a given place. It is impossible not to notice it.
Therefore, a common mistake when choosing sus
pended luminaires is to take shortcuts and focus on
the appearance of the luminaire itself, which results
in an underexposed but beautifully decorated space.
In our opinion, suspended architectural lighting
should flawlessly fulfill both roles: aesthetic
appearance and functional lighting. Therefore,

Estetyka czy funkcja? Szczególnie w przypadku
oświetlenia wiszącego, wyważenie pomiędzy
tymi dwoma cechami bywa niełatwym zadaniem.
Lampa wisząca nad stołem czy ladą recepcyjną
to często równocześnie ozdoba wnętrza i element
użytkowy, który powinien zadbać o komfort spo
żywania posiłków czy codziennej pracy obsługi
hotelu. Oprawa zawieszona nad wyspą kuchenną

toniczne powinno bezbłędnie spełnić obie role:
estetycznego wygląd i funkcjonalnego świece
