MESSAGE FROM THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Chair of the Board of Directors
Executive Director
Grenee Martacho
Jen Hewitt
As Chair of the Chandler Education Foundation this past year, I am deeply
grateful for the unwavering support from our community. Together, we
have made tremendous strides in enhancing access, fostering innovation,
and promoting excellence within the Chandler Unified School District. Your
dedication and generosity have been the cornerstone of our progress,
enabling us to continue our mission of impact and growth.
I also want to express my sincere appreciation for the efforts and dedication
of my fellow board members and the CEF staff. It has been a pleasure
working alongside such purpose-driven individuals, whose commitment
has been instrumental in our successes. As I conclude my term, I am
delighted to pass the leadership torch to Larry Rother, who will assume
the Chair position next year. Larry has been a devoted supporter of both
CEF and CUSD for many years, and I am confident he will guide the
organization with great skill and drive in advancing our mission.
This year marked our first ‘normal’ year following the challenges of the
pandemic, and I am heartened by the resilience and progress we’ve
achieved together. At the Chandler Education Foundation, we’ve taken
the lessons learned to refine our priorities and redirect our efforts to better
serve the evolving needs of the Chandler Unified School District.
Your steadfast support has been crucial in helping us not just recover, but
also refocus on our mission. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able
to address emerging needs and support our students and educators with
renewed dedication and flexibility.
Looking ahead, your ongoing support will be essential in sustaining and
expanding our efforts. Together, we are creating a brighter future for every
student in our district. Thank you for standing with us and for being a
crucial part of our journey.
