assault, in accordance with Connecticut law.

psychological injury or disability resulting from family violence or sexual
assault.
Obtain services from a victim services organization on behalf of the victim.
Relocate due to such family violence or sexual assault.
Participate in any civil or criminal proceeding related to or resulting from
such family violence or sexual assault.

paid sick leave. Employees may also apply for wage replacement benefits for up
to 12 days through the Connecticut Paid Leave (CTPL) program for these
reasons.

seven (7) days' advance notice. If not foreseeable, notice should be given as soon
as practicable.

statement certifying that the leave is for an authorized purpose. WDLT may
also request a police or court record related to the family violence or sexual
assault, or a signed written statement from an employee or agent of a victim
services organization, an attorney, or a police officer certifying that the
employee is a victim.
Confidentiality: Any documentation provided will be maintained as confidential
by WDLT and will not be disclosed except as required by law or as necessary to
protect the employee's safety.
Interaction with Other Leaves: This leave may run concurrently with other
applicable leaves, such as CT FMLA, if the reason for leave also qualifies under
that law. Employees may also be eligible for wage replacement benefits through
the Connecticut Paid Leave (CTPL) program for these reasons.
