GOVERNOR’S VISIT

Visit the Peace Garden Project

Let’s make this visit memorable and showcase the

incredible spirit of our Rotary Club of New Kingston!

We are thrilled to announce that District Governor

Dominique Bazin and her husband will be gracing us

with their presence in Jamaica this September! Mark

your calendars for Friday, September 13, as DG Bazin

will be visiting the Rotary Club of New Kingston.

During her visit, DG Bazin will address our meeting,

sharing her insights and vision, and will also join us

for our Board meeting. This is a fantastic opportunity

for us to engage with her and gain valuable

perspectives on our ongoing projects and future

endeavors.

We have planned a special itinerary to showcase

some of the impactful work our club is involved in.

DG Bazin will tour the Peace Garden project, which

we are developing in partnership with the National

Education Trust (NET) at Swallowfield Primary

School. This project promises to be a beacon of hope

and inspiration for the community.

To celebrate this special visit, we will host DG Bazin for

lunch and a festive evening on September 13. It's a

wonderful chance for all members to connect, enjoy each

other’s company, and show our appreciation for her

leadership and support.

We encourage every member to attend and participate in

these exciting events. Your presence will not only honor

DG Bazin but also demonstrate our collective commitment

to the Rotary values we cherish.

If schedule allows, we will also invite DG Bazin to visit the

Water Harvesting project in Fullerswood, St. Elizabeth—a

crucial initiative supported by the Disaster Response Grant

we received from the District. This visit will highlight the

tangible benefits of our collective efforts and the

difference we are making on the ground.
