THE GREAT DEBATE!
PROPOSING THE MOOT
Be it resolved that tradition and not diversification is the critical
success factor for Rotary Club of New Kingston's sustainability.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Amina Blackwood Meeks, the legendary
Owen "Blakka" Ellis, and Past District Governor Patrick Adizua on the
panel, ready to weigh in on this high-stakes debate!
This isn’t just a debate. It’s the Great Debate - a celebration of ideas,
a clash of perspectives, and a chance for every Rotarian to rally
behind their beliefs! No fence-sitting allowed—everyone’s picking a
side, except, of course, our President and the judges. This is your
moment to be part of an exciting, exhilarating, and fun-filled
morning!
Heading up the challenge is Past President John Lindo, alongside
Past President Mitch Stephenson, Rotarian Michael Stanbury, and
President of New Kingston Rotaract Club, Ashley Marie Auld, .
They’re here to make a compelling case for diversification as the key
to our ongoing success
Mark your calendars for an electrifying morning of wit, wisdom,
and friendly rivalry at the Rotary Club of New Kingston, Friday,
August 30! The stage is set for a debate like no other, where the
passion for tradition meets the power of diversification.
Don’t miss out—be there, be loud, and let’s make this debate
one for the history books!
Led by none other than District Governor ‘Bill’ Aiken, this
formidable team includes Rtns Marshalee Hutchinson, Durval
Williams, Alethea Johnson, and Vice President of New Kingston
Rotaract Club, Deirdre-Ann Burrell. They’ll be championing the
