Trail in Peru, using the Spanish skills he learned

from Señor Press.

Max Greenberg and his

team from Altrius Capital

Management were recently

honored by NASDAQ in

NYC for the introduction

of a proprietary EFT.

He currently resides in

Savannah, Georgia.

Patrick Roy rode

approximately 160 miles

in his third Pan-Mass

Challenge. Pat has ridden

in honor of his late father,

Robert Roy, who lost a

long battle with cancer in

2019.

Nick Shervanian

received his MBA

from the Stillman

School of Business at

Seton Hall University.

Nick completed his

undergraduate degree

from SHU in 2020 as

a Sports Management major. He is presently

employed as an Account Executive for Seton

Hall Basketball.

CLASS OF 2017

Baker Noonan moved to Alabama after

graduating from Purdue University and is working

as an aerospace engineer for Lockheed Martin

Missiles and Fire Control.

Craig Crossley got engaged to his college

sweetheart, Lauren.

Mike Lappas is beginning work on his master’s

dissertation at Northeastern University.

CLASS OF 2017

Kevin Bowery married Liz Filachek in Union

Vale, NY on September 10. Will Fraser ’17

was his best man and Joe Tzanetos ’17

Kevin’s fall excitement continued in October

with competition in the MultiGP Sportsman

championship in Florida. He finished 3rd

overall in the division.

CLASS OF 2019

Dylan Gardner, a

men’s varsity lacrosse

player at the University

of Michigan, received

the University Athletics

Education Award

this past year. Dylan

was recognized for

the help he provided to the Ann Arbor public

school community.

Dom Bettinelli, Michael Collins ’20,

Philip Gelso ’21, and Sam Gelso ’19 are all

members of Friars Club at Providence College. In

the spirit of service and hospitality, the members

act as ambassadors of the school.

CLASS OF 2020

Mike Murray is excited to share that he

volunteered at the 122nd U.S. Open held at The

Country Club of Brookline. He was a part of the

merchandise team and was thrilled to be on the

historic golf course where Francis Ouimet won

the US open in 1913.

CLASS OF 2021

Joe Fraone sang the

National Anthem at

Fenway for the final Red

Sox game of the season.

Joe attends BC where he

is part of the Bostonians

a cappella group, and

is also leading his own

pop rock band, “Off

the Coast.”

Tim Furey welcomed his father, Larry, and

sister, Kathleen, at Fairfield University for Alumni

Family Weekend. Tim is double majoring in

communications and Spanish, and is working

as a New Student Leader for the Office of

Student Engagement.

CLASS OF 2022

Sam Stearns, along with Tyler Stearns ’22,

Nate Faria ’22, Philip Gelso ’21, and

Christian Bonadio ’22, were among the

alumni who returned to help with XLI #46 on the

campus of Stonehill College in August. More than

70 members of the Class of 2023 attended this

year’s XLI as they prepared to start their senior

year as the leaders of the student community.

Caleb Bell, who entered the United States

Marines after graduation, visited with John

Tassinari, Xaverian science teacher, to converse

and compare their experiences in basic training.

Michael Parent is

the recipient of the

prestigious Thoreau

Scholarship, named for

the 19-century naturalist

and author. Michael

attends the University of

Notre Dame and intends

to major in environmental science. He credits

his Xaverian environmental science teacher, T.J.

Manning ’09, for encouraging his students

to explore their interests. With Mr. Manning’s

support, Michael built an aquaponic system,

growing plants and raising fish with the help

of beneficial bacteria, to learn about the loop

systems and sustainable food production.
