CLASS NOTES
CLASS OF 1985
Chuck Carmone retired from coaching the
Boston College ski team after three successful
years and setting over 20 new team records.
He is now a middle school math teacher at
Blessed Sacrament School in Walpole, and is
also heading up their outdoor adventure and
ski programs.
CLASS OF 1986
Paul Fitzgibbons is traveling the world with
his wife and sometimes two daughters if they’re
about. He will be releasing his first book about
the roots of Western Civilization under the name
Jack Everly. Paul gives thanks to Xaverian for
instilling in him the right mindset and work ethic
for getting both projects off the ground!
CLASS OF 1988
Gerry Lambert, Xaverian math teacher
and department chair, was inducted into the
Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association
Hall of Fame. Gerry will be honored at the
MBCA’s 56th Annual Award Celebration in
January 2023, as he is recognized for his
countless contributions to high school baseball
here in Massachusetts.
Fran Sturgis is an electrician and a 28-year
member of IBEW Local 103. He, his wife, Rachel,
and son, Charlie, live in Marshfield.
CLASS OF 1989
Jeff Mann is starting a new job as Chief
Operating Officer for the Walton Arts Center
and Walmart AMP in northwest Arkansas. He
will also guide the center’s programming and
education initiatives.
CLASS OF 1990
Bill DiSciullo lives in Charlotte, NC with his
wife Paula (ne’e Metz) and their four children,
CLASS OF 1981
Janie (16), Peter (14), Hannah (10), and Chloe
(8). Bill and family belong to St. Gabriel’s
Catholic Church in Charlotte and are enjoying
life in the sunbelt, having moved from Madison,
NJ in 2015. Bill works as a regional director of
institutional sales for an investment management
firm. He’s grateful for his days on Clapboardtree
Street and the lifelong friendships he maintains
with some Xaverian classmates.
CLASS OF 1992
David Nazaire sent a shout-out to Xaverian
football - “Break down Hawks!” David moved
down to Georgia and coaches a 10U all-star
softball team, the Mill Creek Hawks. The team’s
video of their championship season starts with
the breakdown call. David shared that this is the
same rally as every football practice he had at
Xaverian, and 30 years later the “Break down
Hawks” has made its way to the south.
Dennis House, who serves as a chief political
anchor for News 8 WTNH in New Haven, CT, had
the pleasure of welcoming Xaverian’s new Dean
of Students, Mr. John Guinan, to the studio this
summer. Even before the Xaverian connection,
Dennis and John shared the connection of both
being graduates of Assumption University. They
were joined by Fr. Michael Dolan, who serves
as President of Northwest Catholic High School
in West Hartford, CT, and is also a Connecticut
State Police Chaplain. Pictured (L-R) are John

CLASS OF 1982
Sean Fahy has been a Trustee since 2015 and
is now the Chairman of the Board of Trustees
for Xaverian. He is also President of CM&B,
which provides comprehensive construction
management services across a variety of sectors.
Sean has been a longtime supporter of Xaverian.
His son, Michael, is a member of the Class
of 2015.
CLASS OF 1984
Greg Buchanan along with Kevin Nowak ’96, Capt. Thomas O’Donnell ’96, Jimmy
Coyne, P ’15, and Sean Saganey ’82, P ’16, once again completed the Pan Mass Challenge,
raising over $65,000. The classmates and friends rode as Team Xaverian, sharing that riders
recognize the fundamental values of giving back and helping others - values that are deeply rooted
in a Xaverian education. Also pictured are Andy Cleverdon and Neil Nolan, friends of Xaverian.
Fr. Matt Williams stopped by on September
8 to bless the Xaverian football program and
staff before the season began. Fr. Matt serves
as Pastor of St. John the Baptist and St. Joseph
Parish Collaborative in Quincy.
CLASS OF 1993
Matthew Adams is the owner of M&C
Painting-Home Solutions LLC in Quincy. He and
his wife, Clarissa, welcomed their first child, Liam
Anthony Adams, on August 4, 2021.
Jay Ierardi recently joined SLS Consulting as
Vice President. He is grateful for the valuable
help and advice from fellow alumni while
navigating this career change. SLS is a fire and
life safety specialist firm that helps solve the
challenging issues that architects, engineers,
contractors, and owners face from concept to
occupancy on commercial construction projects.
Jay is responsible for business development,
continuous improvement, and mentoring the next
generation of fire and life safety professionals.
CLASS OF 1994
John McNulty recently got promoted to the
information services department as a Clinical
Application Support Analyst at Morton Plant
North Bay Hospital, part of the BayCare Health
System in New Port Richey, FL. He and his wife,
Melissa, have two boys and reside in Spring
Hill, FL.
