CLASS OF 1967
food industries. Mark traveled throughout the
USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Taiwan
on service and installation trips, and provided
documentation, phone, and online customer
support. He still resides in Stoughton where
he has a lot of built-up “homework” to do
and a neglected acoustic guitar and banjo
to re-discover.
CLASS OF 1970
Jerry Murphy recently became a starter at The
Cape Club of Sharon, formally known as Spring
Valley CC (where he was a caddie from ’64
to ’68).
CLASS OF 1973

reunion: May 12, 2023
Andy Colamaria was joined by Paul Mellett,
Joe Luongo, Bart O’Connor and Jack
Colamaria ’80 at his daughter Anita’s wedding
in Plymouth, NH. Anita and her husband, Michael
Davis, expect a baby boy on December 6. Andy’s
fingers are crossed for the Class of 2041!
Steve Curley retired in 2015 after 20 years on
the Pembroke Advisory Committee, 12 years as
chairman, and six years as vice chair/clerk. Steve
fills his time volunteering on the Community
Center Task Force and the Pembroke Recycling
Committee. He is also treasurer for several
community non-profits, including the Pembroke
Historical Society, Pembroke Public Library
Foundation, Pembroke Celebrates, and Plymouth
Area Community TV. Steve is the conference
president for his parish’s conference for the
Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and is proud to
share that the group distributed in excess of
70,000 pounds of food from their food pantry!
Bart O’Connor sold his business, Advanced
Energy, after 26 years of servicing the area. He
moved to Naples, FL with his wife, Rosie, where
they are enjoying retirement. The couple has
three grandchildren who live in Hanover, NH. Bart
and Rosie enjoy vacationing with family in Maine
in the summer.
CLASS OF 1979
Bill Bennett started a new job as AVP
Risk Management & Appraisal Reviewer with
Washington Trust Company in Rhode Island. He
and his wife, Maura, have two sons attending
the University of Oklahoma and the University of
Miami. They currently reside in Milton.
Fr. Rocco Puopolo, SX celebrated All Saints
Day Mass at Xaverian on November 1. In his
homily, Fr. Rocco stressed how ordinary people
can do extraordinary things with their faith. He
encouraged all of us to recognize our God-given
gifts and use them to help others.
CLASS OF 1968
Michael Lane and his wife, Nancy Richardson,
upon their return from a three-week European
pilgrimage met up with Hurricane Ian. The two
experienced over six hours of gusts nearing
150 mph and sustained winds in excess of
130 mph. As a result, their house suffered major
damage. The couple will spend the fall on Cape
Cod while repairs are completed to their home
and hope to return to Florida by Christmas.
CLASS OF 1969
Joseph Gilmore proudly congratulated his
grandson, JB Gilmore ’22, as the first third-
generation graduate of Xaverian. Joseph’s son,
Joe, Jr., is a member of the Class of 1988.
Tommy Matchett resides with his wife in
Keystone Ski Resort Colorado and works for
Vail Corp. as a snowboard instructor. He would
love to show his mountain to fellow Hawks
who venture to the Colorado mountains.
Tommy also spends his time as a volunteer at
Copper Mountain.
Mark Dmohowski is planning to retire after
38 years at Forte Technology of Easton. Forte
manufactures custom lab-based and production-
line moisture measurement systems for the
pulp, textile, synthetic rubber, fiberglass, and

Richard Oliver and his wife, Lisa, of Cotuit,
were recognized with the 2022 Cape and Islands
United Way Visionary Award, honoring their
long-standing commitment to the United Way
and beyond.
