Areas of Study
This elective is for students interested in exploring a
range of inclusive and alternative sports suitable for all
ages and abilities. You’ll take part in activities that
promote lifelong physical activity, especially for those
who may not participate in competitive or high-intensity
sports. Activities may include garden games (such as
bocce,
Finska,
and
frisbee),
adapted
soccer,
badminton, pickleball, and lawn bowls. Students will
have the opportunity to design their own activity or
sport that encourages being active for life.
