ACTIVE TERM

It was great to get the

opportunity to sample some of

the local facilities this term.

Students were welcomed to

the golf club. For most it was

the first time to play golf and

hopefully not the last.

This year Water Safety Ireland

created a programme called ‘Get

Wise’. Some of our newly qualified

lifeguards, along with the PE

teachers, ran the course with 1st

Years.

The

TYs

used

the

opportunity

to

show

their

knowledge and teach students

basic life saving skills in case of

emergency

Rugby

Our newly qualified coaches,

along with some Future Leader

students, helped run a rugby

blitz for all the Tramore primary

schools. It was no mean feat,

with close on 500 children

played on the school pitch
