The history department organised a trip to

Dublin to the Epic museum. In the museum,

students got to see the story of Irish

emigration

over

the

centuries.

They

discovered why people left Ireland and saw

how the Irish influenced the world they

found.

Well done to all students who were

acknowledged for their excellent behaviour

this year at the end of year party.

Congratulations to the 31 students who

completed the Future Leaders Award this

year. Students spent time completing their

tasks

in

Coaching,

Refereeing,

Event

Management and Performance Analysis and

put all their skills to use in the running of

their events. Well done to all the students

who completed all the required modules and

were awarded with the full Future Leader

Award. We were thrilled to find out that we

have been awarded a Silver award from the

GAA for the work that has been done by this

group. Thank you to Mr. Cleary and Ms.

Curran for their work with both groups.

We are very proud of our YSI group for the

connection they have made with the nursing

home and its residents this year. They

finished up just before the holidays with a

lovely group meet up and presentation.

Hopefully they will continue their visits over

the summer.
