More crime is being commi�ed by people who invade your personal space, like the Huggers,
or those who stop you and ask for informa�on or direc�ons. O�en this will result in a third party
robbing you.
The term “personal space” generally refers to the physical distance between

. Think of your personal space as the air between your body and an

invisible shield, or bubble, you have formed around yourself for any rela�onship. Most people have
a certain distance they like to keep from others, depending on the rela�onship.
It is important to be aware of what your limits are and to take ac�on if they are compromised.

What to Do if Someone Invades Your Personal Space
