Diffuser screens
The miniaturisation of LED sources inspires us to design luminaires that offer
possibilities of changing the environment where they are used. A good example
of this is luminaires featuring changeable illumination angle.
Thanks to a glass lens placed in a special rotatable ring, it’s possible to frame
selected objects with light, also after installing the fitting. The turning action
is smooth while the framing adjustment resembles setting camera lens
sharpness.
The high-quality lens softens the light and prevents its distortion, while the
frosted part near the diode reduces the glare effect.
Our range includes luminaires allowing the adjustment of the illumination
angle by 15 and 40 degrees or 15 to 60 degrees, which provides a wide array
of possibilities of making the shaft of light cater to the user’s individual needs.
Lenses
Even though the high efficiency of LED lights enables illuminating rooms while
optimising the cost of operation and purchase, it also requires a different
approach to the diffuser screens used. To ensure the user’s comfort, low power
consumption and safety, we apply unique solutions to diffuse light. All of that
serves the purpose of limiting glare, as far as it is possible, while retaining
optimal efficiency and high quality.
SOFT – Milk white diffuser screen absorbing approx 30% of light and diffusing it at the angle of
>90°, thanks to which light is distributed evenly in the whole interior. Recommended for gene
ral lighting, where there is no need to concentrate when working at a computer.
SPR – A Soft-Prism diffuser – prismatic diffuser with one side matted which absorbs only
10% of light. It has glare value of UGR ≤ 19 %, which provides the highest comfort of work and
eliminates computer screen reflections.
PR – PRISM diffuser - prismatic diffuser which absorbs approximately 8% of the light. Thanks
to its structure it directs the light at an angle of 60°, which allows to focus all the lighting power
for example at work surface. It limits glare. Recommended for offices and studios.
The above parameters relate to theoretical assumptions,
the actual level of light absorption are shown in photometric models.
