Born in Argentina in 1981. Graduated in In-
dustrial Design at the University of Buenos
Aires. Since a young age he had the chance
to work on the design of a wide variety of
products from diverse fields such as home
appliance, medical equipment, kitchen-
ware, sportswear, etc. That provided him
an expertise in the use of different materi-
als and production techniques.
However, it wasn’t until he start-
ed designing furniture that he could really
free his mind and develop a distinctive
design language. Disobedience seems to
be the key to understand his approach to
design. His creations defies old archetypes
and pushes material constraints to its limits
as a way to reach an unexpected output.
His work has been acknowl-
edged by several innovation awards:
Good design distinction 2016 issued by
Argentina’s Ministry of Production; Best
design project 2011 issued by Innovadores
de América; Best innovative entrepeneur-
ship 2009 issued by Empretec; 1st Prize in
Industrial design 2010 and 2008 issued by
INNOVAR (Argentina’s National Innovation
Award). Also his designs has been exhibited
in prestigious art museums in Argentina.
No wonder that he is considered one of the
most promising Latin American designers.
RONDA meaning in Spanish refers to
“make a circle with people to talk about
something (or sing too...)”. The meaning is
also ROUND, which reflects the curved
shapes and details.
