Sales Terms

Prices

This price list shows Recommended Retail Price, without VAT, and replaces any

previous price list.

The invoice maturity date cannot be altered and any delays will be subject to the

relevant administrative and financing expenses. The due date of an invoice can

not be changed by the client in case of a commercial claim, except with a written

authorization of Marset.

Sold products will be owned by Marset Iluminación S.A. (Marset) until full payment of

invoice. This is also applicable to customers whose business closes down.

Orders

Minimum Order: 120€ without VAT.

If a client requires an order of lesser amount, Marset will charge an extra 15€ for

administration costs.

Orders will only be accepted if sent by fax or email.

The order will be considered definitive if the client does not make any amendments

24 hours after receipt of the Confirmation Order Sheet sent by Marset, including

information on product, availability, quantities, price, payment and transport

conditions.

International wire transfers should be made in OUR terms (Remitter pays all fees)

so the total amount is received by Marset. If the transfer is received in any other

conditions, we will charge you the corresponding fees in your next order.

Transport

In general terms, orders will be delivered ExWorks. For certain markets there are

specific transport conditions (check with Marset).

Marset’s priority is to deliver orders as per agreed delivery dates but delivery dates

communicated by Marset are approximate only, and Marset will not be liable for, nor

will be in breach of its obligations to Customer, for any delay in delivery, provided that

Marset shall use commercially reasonable efforts to meet such dates.

Transport Claims

In case of any transport claim, Marset has an insurance that covers damages for CIP

deliveries.

The client must inform via fax both the transport agency and Marset 24hrs since

reception of goods. Please write the claim on the delivery note if the damage can

be easily seen.

It is advised to put a stamp on the delivery note that states that the order has arrived

and that the goods are subject to examination of the contents.

In case of damage or breakage, please ask our team whether it is best to fix the light

with a spare part or to return the product.

Repairs

All repairs are subject to a fee established once the fixture reaches Marset’s factory.

The transport fee will be charged to the customer.

Goods return

Goods can only be returned subject to an official authorisation and approval

by Marset.

If Marset accepts a return, the company will issue a credit note covering 80% of the

amount invoiced.

Returned goods have to be sent with the original packaging, in perfect state and with

the reference of the printed authorisation. Otherwise, our warehouse will not accept

the goods.

Guarantee

Our fixtures have a 3-year guarantee valid from the date of purchase. All our fixtures

display a code with the manufacturing date. If the code is removed, the guarantee

will not cover the product.

Our guarantee liability includes the repair or replacement of the goods, excluding

shades, Light sources, charging cables and batteries.

The cost of installation and/or uninstalling the product and the transport fees are

not included in the guarantee.

 

Other

Marset Iluminación, s.a. reserves the right to modify any product in order to improve

its characteristics, without prior notice.

Placement of an order implies acceptance of our sale terms.

All disputes will be subject to arbitration in Barcelona according to Spanish law.
